What is Morning Huddle, and what role does it play in ensuring a strong start to the day? School Directors at USN lead this critical tone-setting meeting every morning prior to students entering the building.
Click on the video to watch as Mel Barrett, the school director at Columbus Collegiate Academy-Main St., thoughtfully leads a daily huddle with her team prior to students entering the building. Morning Huddle is a space where staff can publicly share important information, express concerns, and recognize achievements while setting a positive, student-centered tone for the day. Staff members arrive by 8:28 a.m., and huddle concludes by 8:39 a.m. When huddle ends, staff immediately go to their arrival posts, prepared to welcome students once doors open at 8:40 a.m.
The Morning Huddle ensures that each day starts with a positive, student-focused approach.
