Prevention Education: Resources for Building Resiliency & Reducing Risky Behaviors in Ohio’s School
The Ohio Department of Education and Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services are hosting a webinar, Prevention Education: Resources for Building Resiliency and Reducing Risky Behaviors in Ohio’s Schools, on Jan. 29, from 1-2 p.m.
The departments are partnering on prevention education initiatives for K-12 schools to build resiliency, promote mental wellness and reduce risky behaviors, including substance abuse, suicide, bullying and other harmful behaviors. To advance this crucial work, Ohio is helping districts and schools assess, collaborate with community partners, plan and implement prevention education programs. The webinar will review current state budget resources available for schools and community partners.
Please join the webinar to learn how your school or district can access these resources to give students the skills they need to prevent risky behaviors and achieve success. Click here to register.
